The election brings out such mixed emotions in the market research industry and #ge2015 seems to have been the most controversial yet.
Whilst the debate rages on, I think it’s a good time to take advantage of the fact that Ipsos, YouGov, Comres, ICM and Survation are part of general conversation. This happens once every 5 years and is a great opportunity for us to talk to the general public about market research. It’s a time to potentially recruit respondents but also, and crucially, convert some of those who are “undecideds” into a career in market research, and maybe even retain some of those who are beginning to think that they might want to look at developing a career elsewhere.
The polls are controversial but essential, and this is a once in a 5 year chance to take advantage of the airtime to recruit to this challenging and dynamic sector.
