A leading market research agency is looking for an experienced, ambitious leader to head up a specialist team that consults with clients on statistical and analytical aspects of proposals/projects.
The purpose of the role is to manage the team while still being hands-on and getting involved in analytical projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Lead the UK team – take charge of coaching and training researchers in stats/analytics matters
- Actively contribute to group data science strategy
- Ensure the regional teams are at the forefront of innovation and up to date with the latest methodological trends in the industry
- Take responsibility for driving technical development within the department, and bring new innovations/ideas/methods
To be successful in this role, you will be highly motivated and have fantastic communication and people management skills. You will have a background in quant analytics, marketing statistics, or similar, and you will have worked at a research agency. You will have a good understanding of a wide range of analytical research techniques such as segmentation, regression modelling, data integration, econometric modelling, media mix modelling, and brand mapping. It is essential that you have a good knowledge of SPSS and R, and knowledge of VBA or Python would be an advantage.
