Associate Director – Mixed Methods, Public Sector (Scotland)

This company is one of the worlds leading research agencies. Despite their size they are also one of the agencies with the strongest focus on people development and this is at the heart of their success.
They are looking for an Associate Director to work in their Scottish team, their clients are some of the biggest, most high profile government departments and organisations in Scotland.
You will direct social research projects which help to shape policy development and communications. Projects in the team are diverse and wide-ranging – recent projects have helped our clients to navigate the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 on public attitudes and behaviours, inform the design of Scotland’s future vaccination programme and many more.
This team is the largest provider of social research and policy and programme evaluation to the Scottish government and they have significant capabilities in specialist fields such as deliberative research, analytics, behavioural science, evaluation methods, advanced and complex research studies.
What’s the opportunity?
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director with 6+ years experience to manage high profile studies for a range of government and other public, private and third sector clients in Scotland.
We are looking for someone flexible who is able to undertake research and assist evaluations, and build on these to advise our clients
* Contributing to winning proposals, including developing costs.
* Managing multiple projects, or strands of projects, simultaneously.
* Communicating effectively with public sector clients, internal and external suppliers, private sector clients and internal colleagues both in writing and verbally.
In this role you will have the opportunity to use both qualitative and quantitative skills and we would like to speak to people who would like to develop both sets of skills.
