One of the UK’s largest independent research companies is looking for a UX expert/researcher to join their team in a newly created role.
The agency has an unrivalled reputation as a full-service consultancy. It delivers award-winning insight that clients can rely on for strategic decision making.
The main purpose of the role is to support the directors in building up the company’s reputation for UX/digital research. In addition, the Associate Director will help establish the company as a leader in this area. The role will entail a mixture of research, business development/account management, and project management. Projects will be in the finance, travel, leisure, and hospitality sectors, therefore prior experience in these sectors would be helpful.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Business development and marketing.
- Proposal, pitch and presentation delivery.
- Supporting the UX director in the development of the department within the company.
- End-to-end project management.
- Developing project materials.
- Undertaking fieldwork such as usability testing, workshops or surveys.
- Coaching junior colleagues.
The role is suited to someone who has a mixture of both UX and research experience. You will be a pioneer in your field and be a visionary, ‘big picture’ thinker, who is committed to building and driving a leading UX offering. Your background will be either agency or client side, and you will have lots of experience in the key UX techniques such as expert reviews, persona testing and user testing. Sector-specific experience is an advantage, although not essential.
The company operates as a meritocracy and favours internal promotion, so there are no barriers to advancement for high-performing individuals. A comprehensive training programme is on offer, and the environment is sociable, collaborative, and enthusiastic.
This is a great opportunity for a UX professional who wants to take on a leading role in an exciting area of research. Send your CV today!
