2014…where did it go?
This year has flown by, once again we are eating mince pies and singing along to really cheesy Christmas tunes and its down to me to do the final (ish) blog post.
Its been a great year for us, our 7th and possibly the best. Based on what we have seen and what you have been telling us it has also been a great year for the Research & Insight sector. We are seeing greater diversity in the companies and brands who are employing insight professionals and also changes in the roles. Our clients are looking for stronger commercial skills than ever before and innovation and creativity are key words in most jobs specs these days.
We planted more trees than ever before, thank you to TreesforCities for being our partner in this task.
In 2014 we welcomed over 105 new clients across market research, insight and consultancy. We registered over 800 new market research and insight candidates as well as talking to all the friends we have made over the years.
We found jobs for people in the UK, US and Asia and this year we worked on a more diverse range of positions than ever before.
We did a lot of talking which of course we love and we socialised at the MRS Conference, Research Club, The MRSummit, BIG and the grandest of them all the MRS Awards.
We changed a little as Rosie, Joel and Bea fled the nest we welcomed Mat, Febe, Beatrice and Aileen and hopefully your service from us hasn’t been affected by these changes. We continue to look at new talent to join our team in our quest to help you and we have a new faces joining in January – but more of that then.
The biggest change for us was our new brand, it was hard to let go of the old brand which had helped us to establish ourselves but the time was right. We chose a great design partner in Drew London and its great to have a new look that reflects our changing and growing business.
So from all of us, have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year we look forward to talking to you then.
