Sinead: Managing Director
“I have been working in Market Research Recruitment since 1996. The first position I filled was a Research Analyst and from then on, I was hooked. Over the years I have worked on a wide range of research & insight roles from Graduate to Managing Directors and everything in-between. It is just as important for us to work with the people who are taking their first step on the ladder as those who are nearing the top. Currently at Hasson Associates I have been focused on senior level roles in Brand Consultancies, Research Agencies and in-house data and insight departments. I am also working internationally for these types of candidates and clients as well as developing our network within Media Agencies and Data/Technology companies.”

Nicky: Operations Manager
“Having spent 9 years working in a research agency, in a research and project management role, I realised that working with people was my favourite part of the role, so I moved into recruitment in 2000 (yes, I’m that old) and have never looked back. For me, knowledge is key to a successful career in recruitment and my background in research, the network, and relationships that I have I have gained over the years have really helped, and are also very important to me. I’m honest and quality focused, and a big part of my role now is focusing on Best Practice and providing a quality service to clients and candidates. Freya: Associate – Freelance and Contracts
“I head up the freelance and temporary desk at Hasson Associates. It’s a bit different to what everyone else here does, it’s super-fast paced in terms of how quickly roles come in and out, but I love it. The freelance desk covers roles at all levels and disciplines in the research and insight industry, from Senior Research Executives, Project Managers and Field Executives to Qualitative Moderators, Data Visualisers and Quantitative Research Directors. I try my hand at any role that comes through to my desk, and at this point have a 76% success rate at filling roles that come my way!”

“It’s my responsibility to find candidates the rest of the team might not. I primarily use LinkedIn, Reed and Research Job Finder to source both active and passive candidates, using a combination of advertising, referrals and direct approaches. I’m interested in connecting with research, insights, research operations, data, and analysis professionals from executive to director level. My background is in recruitment, and I’ve really enjoyed learning about the market research industry over the last year. I love that recruitment is a people-focused business and you can never quite predict what’s going to happen.”
